Vanaf goede foto’s kan dit prima gerealiseerd worden.
HOE WERKT HET?
Wanneer er geen geschikte foto’s zijn, maakt Geke graag zelf foto’s bij de geportretteerde thuis om een goed beeld van iemands persoon en karakter te krijgen. Het is ook mogelijk om eenmalig model te staan zodat ze wat schetsen en foto’s kan maken om tot een mooie compositie te komen. Bij kinderen is dit natuurlijk erg lastig omdat zij meestal niet goed kunnen stilzitten. Dan heeft ze ook voldoende aan foto’s.
Voordat ze start zal er altijd overleg zijn over welke foto uitgevoerd wordt tot een schilderij. Kleine aanpassingen zijn in de laatste fase altijd aan te brengen.
STIJL
De schilderstijl is levensecht doch niet fotorealistisch. De persoon zal altijd goed lijken. ‘Ik houd graag de verf en penseelsteek zichtbaar. Dit houdt een schilderij levendig.’ In de pasteltekeningen zie je de krijtstructuur en de structuur van het papier terug. Kleur, lichtval en sfeer zijn daarbij heel belangrijk.
MATERIAAL
Het olieverfschilderij wordt geschilderd op een opgespannen linnen en op de zijkant doorgeschilderd (2 cm) zodat er niet per se een lijst om hoeft. Als u daar toch de voorkeur aan geeft kunt u dit zelf laten verzorgen door een lijstenmaker.
De pasteltekening wordt getekend op papier. Papier dient ter bescherming altijd te worden ingelijst achter glas bij een lijstenmaker of door u zelf.

- Portret in pastel (40 x 50 cm) vanaf € 400
- Portret in olieverf (30 x 30/40 cm) vanaf € 500
- Groot portret met meer lichaam/handen (100 x 100 cm) € 2.250
Meer dan één persoon op een werk is ook mogelijk. Bespreek de mogelijkheden. Geke vraagt 50% aanbetaling bij start van de opdracht.

Portraits on Commision

HOW DOES IT WORK?
For a complete image of the person she has to capture, she would like to have multiple photos of the person in different situations. The final image, format and ambiance will always be in consultation with the client. Small (color) adjustments in the final phase are always possible.
STYLE
The painting style is lifelike but not photographic. The painting will always be a good likeness. Geke prefers to paint with a visible brush stroke. Not too smooth. This keeps a painting alive. Color, light and atmosphere are important elements in the paintings.
MATERIAL
The oil painting wil be done on stretched linen canvas. 2 cm deep. The sides are also painted so you don’t necessarily have to frame it.
